This week, the Watermatic team have been on site at a beautiful rural estate in Oxfordshire, continuing the installation of a new automated irrigation system across the grounds.
Like many UK outdoor projects, the weather delivered a little bit of everything in a single day - from dramatic skies and heavy downpours through to bright sunshine across the estate. Fortunately, our team is well used to adapting to changing site conditions while keeping projects moving efficiently and safely.
The scale and layout of rural estates create unique irrigation challenges. Ground conditions, gradients, access routes and future maintenance all need careful consideration before a single pipe is laid. These installations are often largely invisible once completed, but they form the critical infrastructure that keeps landscapes, planting schemes and grounds performing throughout the year.
